YGBM2 – Building the Future
We are excited to share the current building developments that are being undertaken at YGBM as a part of the 21st Century Schools Programme. This exciting initiative is part of a long term strategic investment in educational estate throughout Wales.
In order to better facilitate the learning, we believe it is imperative that the learning environment reflects the welcoming, up to date and professional nature of the lessons. Therefore, we are thrilled to share these designs and images of the latest progress with you.
The developments include:
- New state-of-the-art entrance/reception
- New Information Technology classrooms
- New Sixth Form common room and learning area
- New Design and Technology block and classrooms
- New Science labs
- New Sports hall
- New school offices
- Extended and improved dining hall
- New 3G pitch with lighting columns
- New tennis courts
- New pupil courtyard
- New Library area and work space for pupils
- New bus drop off/pick up area for pupils
