It is a privilege and an honour for me to present Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg to you.

‘Dyro dy law i mi ac fe awn i ben y mynydd’ - Place your hand in mine and we’ll go to the peak of the mountain, is our motto and this truly encompasses everything that we believe in here. As a school, we promise that every pupil that attends Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg receives the best possible care and provision regarding their education and further opportunities to fulfil their aspirations and their individual needs.

This is an exciting time in Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg. The significant building work in order to improve the quality and standard of our facilities are nearing the end and we have appointed staff to new posts in order to develop the provision from the Reception Class to the Sixth Form. We are working diligently to ensure that our pupils receive the care and academic provision that meets their personal requirements from when they join us at three years old, or when they arrive at eleven years old until they leave us for their next step to be valuable members of their society.

We are looking forward to a bright future ahead for everyone who are part of Ysgol Gymraeg Bro Morgannwg. There is a warm welcome to everyone that join us on this journey; an exciting journey in a school that is committed to ensure that everyone succeeds in an environment that is based on respect and Welsh ethos.

Mr Rhys Angell-Jones
